Group launches products to mark World Disability Day

More Hope for Disability, an NGO, has marked this year’s International Day of Persons with Disability with a launch of their products.

The items which were produced by persons with disability within the group include school bags, shoes and liquid soap.

President of the Group, Joseph Ode Mensah appealed for government’s support to market their products.

He appealed to the government to help create a market for them especially supplying their products to public schools

In response, the MP for Ledzekuku, Dr. Okoe Boye pledged his support for the NGO to increase its production to help improve the living standard of persons with disability. He also promised to provide a bus to facilitate the group’s activities.

The MP for Ledzokuku, Dr. Okoe Boye joined More Hope for Disability Group in Teshie to observe International Day of Disability.

He said everything will be done to enable the NGO to increase its products.

Dr. Okoe Boye donated GH¢1,000.00 to the group and promised monetary assistance to them in future.
