The Minister of Works and Housing, Samuel Atta Akyea, says funding constraint is retarding work on major drains in the country.
He said noted that due to the country’s limited resources, the Ministry requires a loan facility to consistently finance drainage projects to deal with perennial flooding.
Mr. Atta Akyea said this after inspecting drainage projects in some flood-prone areas in Accra.
