Major roads in parts of Accra have flooded following Thursday morning’s rains.
Most affected areas in the metropolis were Kwame Nkrumah circle, Abeka Tessanor of the Accra Kumasi road, Kaneshie, parts of Mataheko, Darkuman junction, Odorkor and Weija.
A section of the road from Darkuman Junction to Abossey Okai-Mpamprom traffic lights was flooded after the rain fell.
All activities were grounded to a halt at Kaneshie leaving some gentry and nobility of Accra, who set out to strut about their morning duties, to seek shelter in front of some stores.
