The Managing Director of the Ghana Airport Company Limited, GACL, John Dekyem Attafuah has been relieved of his post with immediate effect.
Confirming the decision, the Minister of Aviation, Joseph Kofi Addah said the board has been directed to see to the execution of the directive.
He said Mr. Attafuah has been asked to hand over to his Deputy, Yaw Kwakwa who is expected to act until a substantive appointment of a new Managing Director is made by government.
Mr. John Dekyem Attafuah was appointed as the Managing Director of GACL, in March 2017.
Until his appointment, he was the Managing Director of Virtual Access Limited; a market research company.
