In a disturbing incident, a Togolese man was apprehended in Ghana for allegedly attempting to carry out money rituals by sacrificing his Ghanaian friend.

The suspect, whose identity remains undisclosed, allegedly sought the assistance of a purported spiritual practitioner, commonly known as a “Mallam,” to conduct the ritual.

However, the so-called Mallam turned out to be an undercover agent, ensuring the arrest took place on the planned day of the sacrificial ceremony.

The Togolese man, identified as a local miner, cited financial desperation as the motive behind the ritual.

A video circulating online captures the Ghanaian victim tied, with the Togolese suspect in custody.

The incident sheds light on the alarming nature of the events that unfolded within the community. Authorities are expected to conduct further investigations into the case.
