NIA announces fees for Ghana Card Services at premium centres

The National Identification Authority (NIA) has announced approved fees and charges for Ghana Card services at selected premium registration centres.

A Facebook post on the NIA’s official page outlined the fees for services such as First Time Registration, Card Replacement, and Record update Only.

The rest are Record Update with Replacement of Card and Nationality Update.

According to the announcement made on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 , first-time registration and record updates will each incur a charge of GHC 310.00. Card replacement will cost GHC 420.00, while individuals updating their records and replacing their cards simultaneously will pay GHC 355.00. Nationality updates is pegged at GHC 365.00.

The NIA clarified that these fees apply exclusively at designated registration centres.

“The above fees and charges are paid only at the NIA Premium Registration Centres” the post said.

  1. A friend of mine has problem with his card. The Ghana card date of birth is different from the date of birth on his SSNIT Card. Is it possible to reconcile the two?
