The Chief Executive of the Forestry Commission, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie says personnel of the Youth in Afforestation programme have begun receiving their allowances from yesterday.
The Youth besieged the offices of the Commission, demanding payment of their allowances.
Mr. Owusu Afriyie however insists that the process to pay them began since last week, and that the payment was not made yesterday, because of the demonstration.
