Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang fetes orphans on Mother’s Day

The Running Mate of the NDC Flag Bearer in the 2020 General Elections, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyeman has celebrated Mother’s Day with children of Fathers Home Care at  Takoradi in the Western region. This was to put smiles on the faces of the children at the orphanage.

The Father’s Home Care Ministries was established in 2001 to cater for homeless children. It currently has a population of one hundred children with  35  at the university.

Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman who was accompanied by the  Western Regional Chairman of the NDC, Nana Toku, and the MP for North Tongu, Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa donated assorted food items and cash of ¢5,000.00 to the orphanage.

Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang said there is the need for all to contribute towards the upkeep of disadvantaged children in the country.

She also stressed on the need for measures to be put in place to make motherhood less cumbersome.
