Suspect in the Takoradi Market Circle baby theft Mawusi Rose Fiaku, 42, has been charged with child stealing and conspiracy to commit crime by the Western Regional Police Command.
She was charged alongside her accomplice,Lawson Lartey, 32, believed to be her boyfriend.
The two were arrested by a SWAT team at their hideout in Effiakuma in the Effia-Kwesimitsim Municipality in the early hours of today with the stolen baby.
