Transport fares are likely to be reduced after consultations currently on-going are finalised.
National Vice Chairman of the G.P.R.T.U, Robert Sabah, told GBC’s Nathaniel Nartey, that following President Akufo Addo’s directive for Commercial Transport Operators to revert to their previous sitting capacity, it is imperative or logical to reduce fares.
He said due process is being followed to effect changes in the fares.
Mr. Sabah said a taskforce is already in place to enforce the reduction when it is announced.
