The Tema Regional Communications Manager of the Ghana Water Company (GWCL), Sampson Ampah, has assured residents of Tema and its surrounding communities, yet to have water after shutdown to exercise restraint as pressures are low.

He hoped by the close of day, all will have water; saying the Company apologises for any inconvenience caused due to unforeseen situations.

Speaking in an interview with Radio Ghana News in Tema, Mr Ampah explained that even though maintenance works at the Tema Booster Station is complete, some people still do not have water running through their taps because they are on slightly higher grounds.

He said the Company is working assiduously to resolve the problem.
