NMC tasked to sanitize media landscape

The Chief Justice Kwasi Anin Yeboah has called on the National Media Commission to use their office to sanitize the media landscape.

He said that the media reportage currently needs to be sanitized to promote democracy.

Speaking at the Swearing-in of 18 New members of the Commission in Accra the Chief Justice called on the NMC to bring their experiences to bare in the interest of Ghanaians.

A member of the NMC Bright Blewu in his response thanked the Chief Justice for the ceremony and said that the Swearing-in is significant in the media landscape since Ghanaians look up to the NMC.

He pledged on behalf of the Commission to work diligently as the Constitution 1992, expect of them.

The occasion was graced by some Justices of the Supreme Court, the Judicial Secretary the Chairman of the NMC Yaw Boadu Ayeboafo, and the President of the Ghana Journalists Association Roland Affail Monney.
