Three persons have been convicted for spilling concrete on a public road at Abavana Junction along the Pig farm-Circle stretch in Accra.

The driver and two supervisors who were arrested on January 28, 2022 were put before court January 27, 2022, and have been convicted to pay fines of various amounts.

The first accused person Tahiru Faisal who is the driver of a Ford Concrete Pump Truck with registration number GN 8042 -20 was convicted to pay a fine of GHC 2,000.

The second accused person who is an Engineer and Supervisor of Sobtech Engineering Consultancy, Emmanuel Sogah-Burns was also convicted and paid a fine of GHC 600.

The third accused person, Stephen Donkor who is the operator of the truck was also convicted and paid a fine of GHC 600.

In a statement the Service cautioned motorists to abide by road safety regulations as anyone found culpable will be prosecuted.
