The National Labour Commission, NLC, says it will engage the Colleges of Education Non-Teaching Staff Association of Ghana on Wednesday April 13, 2022 to begin negotiation over their Conditions of Service.

Members of the Association laid down their tools on Monday, April 11, 2022 to protest against what they describe as the failure of their employers to act on their demand for better conditions of service.

In an interview with GBC News, the Executive Secretary for the National Labour Commission, Ofosu Asamoah said all efforts will be put in place to resolve their grievances.

On the issue of CLOSSAG’s impending strike, Mr. Ofosu Asamoah said the Commission together with the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission and the Ministry of Finance will be engaging members of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana, (CLOGSAG) to find a common ground.
