President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has paid a visit to the Founder and General Overseer of the United Denominations Originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills.
The President’s visit was to commiserate with the Bishop and his family over the loss of their son, Dr David Heward-Mills.
Signing the Book of Condolence opened for Dr David Heward-Mills yesterday (April 19, 2022), President Akufo-Addo expressed his sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for strength for the family in this difficult time.
“I came to express the sympathies and condolences of my family and I on this tragic loss. I wish the Bishop and his family the strength, comfort and love of the Almighty in this difficult time. May God console and bless the family,” President Akufo-Addo wrote.
Dr. David Heward-Mills, the eldest child of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills died after a short illness.
He worked as a Medical Doctor in the United States of America prior to his demise.
He was 31.
