Corruption Watch Ghana has called for a review of Ghana’s Assert Declaration law, to make it more biting.

According to Corruption Watch Ghana, its review is long overdue to make the law more transparent and ensure strict compliance.

Speaking on the Uniqq Breakfast Drive, Technical Advisor, Corruption Watch Ghana, William Nyarko, added ”there is the need to renew all other laws aimed at fighting Corruption”.

Mr. Nyarko, observed a major challenge confronting the fight against corruption, is ”the politicization of institutions”.

He reiterated the need to ”relook at the appointing powers of the President of Ghana.” Meanwhile, the Technical Advisor, Corruption Watch Ghana, William Nyarko.

Corruption Watch Ghana has petitioned the Special Prosecutor to investigate issues surrounding the properties of the Late Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, otherwise known as Sir John.
