3 Ghanaians die of coronavirus in Europe

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, says the Coronavirus disease, COVID-19 has since the outbreak killed a total of three Ghanaians in Europe.

Madam Ayorkor Botchwey told journalists in Parliament that the three people died outside of Ghana.

She said two died in Italy and the third passed on in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The Minister has also disclosed that as a precautionary measure, Ghanaian missions abroad have been directed to suspend work while officials have been advised to stay at the stations instead of returning to the country.
