Police await advice of AG in Abesim murder case

The Police say it has presented a duplicate docket of the case of Richard Appiah, the footballer who allegedly killed and stored body parts of two minors in a refrigerator at Abesim in the Bono Region, to the Attorney General for advice.

Chief Inspector Kofi Anane told the Kaneshie District Court that the Police were, therefore, waiting for the AG’s advice.

The court presided over by Ms Ama Adomako Kwakye, therefore, adjourned the matter to June 16.

Appiah is standing trial for the murder of Louis Agyeman and Stephen Sarpong in cold blood.

Charged with murder, the 28-year-old footballer has had his plea reserved.

Appiah is said to have stored some of the body parts of the minors in a refrigerator.

The Police, during investigations, retrieved some of the body parts and intestines of farm.

The minors have since been buried.
