The Western Regional Police Command is set to deploy about five hundred police personnel during the Christmas and New Year festivities.
The Western Regional Police Commander, DCOP Redeemer Vincent Dedjoe made this known at a media briefing and launch of ‘Operation Father Christmas’, an initiative the Ghana Police Service has put place to ensure that there is sanity during the season.
He called on personnel of the Service to exhibit a high level of professionalism.
DCOP Dedjoe said it is the duty of the Police to make their presence felt within the Metropolis by protecting lives and property and also maintain peace.
