Ace Journalist, Kofi Yeboah, presents books to GBC

A Former General Secretary of the Ghana Journalists Association GJA, Mr. Kofi Yeboah, has presented copies of his book, “Perils and Pearls” to the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) in Accra.

The book, which is an autobiography of his professional career as a journalist, is to inspire young journalists.

The 249-page book “Perils and Pearls” is a flection of the author’s professional career and how he found love.

In the 12-chapter book, Mr. Kofi Yeboah recounts his days as a school boy at Osu Salem, walking readers through his time at the university, his professional career as a journalist in the GBC radio news room and life at Graphic Communications Group.

Currently a communications lecturer at Wisconsin International University, Mr. Kofi Yeboah says he was inspired to share his professional life for young journalists to learn from.

The Director General of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) Prof. Amin Alhassan was grateful that one of GBC’s own in appreciation of the good lessons at GBC, has documented them, to edify readers.

Perils and Pearls was published in 2020 as part of Mr. Kofi Yeboah’s 25th anniversary in practice.
