By the year 2030, the Nationally Determined Contributions of African countries will amount to $232 trillion.
Quoting from an International Finance Corporation’s Report, the Director of Climate Change and Green Growth of African Development Bank, Anthony Nyong, said the figure presents investment opportunities and calls for private sector investment.
Speaking at a round-table at the on-going Africa Climate week, Mr Nyong outlined how the bank is assisting countries to achieve reduction of carbon emissions.
