The Association of Arabic Instructors in the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Regions has appealed to government to as a matter of urgency pay their outstanding salaries to enable them to deliver efficiently.

The appeal was made in a statement jointly signed by the President, Abdomen Dado, Secretary Abu Musah and Organiser Lamine Mohammed.

According to the statement, the Arabic Language Teachers were employed in January last year under the Arabic Instructors Module of the Youth Employment Agency, which is currently on-going but instructors have only received three months’ salary.

The Association said they are owed 16 months’ salary arrears and demand immediate payment to make life more bearable for them.
