The Executive Secretary of Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability (ASEPA) Mensah Thompson is reportedly attacked by robbers in his home and made away with phones and 8,000 cedis cash.

Mr. Mensah Thompson who confirmed the incident via telephone interview with gncghanaonline.com noted that, “yes it is true, I was attacked by robbers at home last night”.

According to him, robbers entered his bedroom, sprayed chloroform on him and ransacked the whole room.

He disclosed they, “bolted with a 65 inch flat screen TV, 2 laptops, iPhone 12, Apple watch series 6, Wifi modems, cash amount of GHC8,000 and other gadgets”.

He however, stressed that he was sound and safe in spite the incident as he mentioned that “in all this I am grateful to God for my life, I was at the mercy of these robbers, they could have done anything to me but thank God the story is different and I am alive”.
