By: Ewurabena Paha
The Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church Ghana, Most Rev Dr Paul Kwabena Boafo says Churches must be security alert as members gather in numbers for festive services.
Also, the security apparatus especially the Police must intensify patrols and be on the move to the rescue of citizens who may fall victim to miscreants.
Delivering a Christmas and New Year message to Ghanaians  in Accra, Most Rev. Dr Boafo said the reality of time “required vigilance and personal security consiousness to stay alive”.
Though he acknowledged the financial difficulties the country is dealing with and its impact on citizens, Most Rev Boafo urged them not to fear but believe that the savior of the World who is Jesus has been born to bring salvation to all.
