The President of the Full Gospel Church, Bishop Samuel Noi Mensah has lauded the government for implementing restriction of movement in Greater Accra and Kumasi in a bid to halt the spread of the coronavirus disease.

He said though this could have been done earlier, it is important that Ghanaians also support the government in the fight against the pandemic.

Speaking to Radio Ghana, Bishop Samuel Nii Noi Mensah noted that the two-week restriction will enable the government to assess the infection rate and devise other stringent measures to address the situation.

He however stressed the need for the other Regions to strictly adhere to the W.H.O protocols.

Bishop Nii Noi Mensah urged the Banks to suspend all loans whether individual or corporate, since people are unable to work generate the needed income.

He maintained that the Church will continue to pray and support the government to chart courses to battle the pandemic in Ghana.
