The Bui Power Authority (BPA), which prides itself as the “Leaders in Renewable Energy” is living up to that accolade after embarking on the development of Solar Power Generation Project, to augment the Hydro Power that it originally produces.
The BPA is developing a 250 Megawatt hydro-solar PV Hybrid Plant within the Bui area.
The first phase of the project, which involves the construction of a 50 Megawatt, Solar Farm, has a first component of 10 Megawatts set to be completed by the end of October 2020.
