The School Feeding Secretariat says it is working assiduously to get the feeding grants of the National School Feeding Caterers Association increased.
The Secretariat in the meantime says it will also ensure that all arrears owed the Caterers are paid.
The Public Relations Officer of the Secretariat, Siiba Alfar speaking on GBC’s ‘Behind the News’ urged the Caterers to rescind their earlier decision, not to cook for the school Pupils.
Mr. Alfar’s comments came after the National School Feeding Caterers Association demanded an increase in feeding grants from the initial 97 pesewas to GHC3, citing high food prices.
