President of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI), Nana Dr. Appiagyei Dankawoso, has inaugurated the Eastern Regional Chapter of the Chambers in Koforidua.
The Chapter has been tasked to resolve difficulties businesses go through in accessing funds and help them to operate efficiently and profitably.
Dr. Dankawoso noted that the Region is well recognised as a strategic and epicenter for business in the country.
He advised business owners to take advantage of modern trend in transacting business, to improve their businesses.
Nana Dankawaso outlined some targeted support programmes the Chamber has assumed.
Nana Dr. Appiagyei Dankawoso encouraged businesses and potential business owners in the Eastern Region, to join the Chamber and take full advantage of the unique business support services provided by the Chamber to develop their business.
The Immediate past President of GNCCI, who is also Board Chairman of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre, MASLOC, Dr. Seth Agyei Baah in a statement, said the Coronavirus pandemic is a major factor in the current challenges confronting the Chamber.
He said the Chamber of Commerce symbolises wealth and share within the private sector.
