What was supposed to be a peaceful protest procession by students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and technology, KNUST, in Kumasi Monday, turned out to be very violent.
According to GBC’s Ashanti Regional Correspondent, Nicholas Osei-Wusu, apart from the extensive damage caused to university property by the rampaging students, at least 16 private vehicles belonging to some staff at the University’s administration have also been severely damaged.
