The Paramount Chief of Bamvim, Naa Abdulai Ziblim, has released a one-acre land at Jongshegu in Tamale for the construction of a new fire station.
The land is to be used by the Ghana National Fire Service, GNFS, to improve emergency response in the fast-growing suburb and its surrounding communities.

A team from the GNFS led by the Northern Regional Commander, ACFOI Joseph Koranteng, visited the site to formally receive the land and thanked the chief for his support towards public safety.

ACFOI Koranteng described the gesture as visionary leadership and a clear example of collaboration between traditional authorities and state institutions to protect lives and property.
Naa Abdulai Ziblim said he remains committed to development initiatives that safeguard his people and called on stakeholders to support the GNFS to ensure early completion of the project.
The Fire Service says it will begin processes to develop the site into a modern fire station to serve Jongshegu and beyond.
