Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, Shi Ting Wang has allayed fears that StarTimes deal with Ghana will lead to takeover of the Ghanaian Broadcasting industry.
He said China respect the sovereignty of countries it deals with and therefore any deal it enters into with Ghana will not be adverse.
Mr Wan was speaking at Akweibu in Accra, at the Launch of a project to supply 300 communities in Ghana with Digital TV experience.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association, GIBA, say they are not in favour of the StarTimes deal because they were not consulted.
