Church Services to Climax Easter in Kwahu

By Gifty Adjei

Various church services have been held to climax this year’s celebrations of the Kwahu Easter Festivities.

A common message that ran through the sermons delivered was the need for Ghanaians to be united to promote development.

Our reporter, Gifty Adjei, visited some of the Churches and reports that Church attendance on Sunday is a significant event on the Kwahu Easter calendar.

The occasion is used to thank God for a successful year.  As early as 9 a.m., some of the churches GBC News visited were full to capacity.

The various Christian groups sang and danced their hearts out to some popular Ghanaian gospel tunes.

The worshippers also prayed to God for his direction, protection, and prosperity.

Meanwhile, on the pulpit, a common string that ran through the various sermons delivered was the call for Ghanaians and most importantly the people of Kwahu to be united towards a common goal, and that is unity, which the country critically needs towards the much needed development.

Speaking to GBC News, some of the worshippers and men of God were happy to have survived this year.

So 2023 is down, 2024 is to go, and we must pray for God’s protection and mercy.
