CID declares CEO of Menzgold Nana Appiah Mensah wanted

The Police Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has declared the Chief Executive Officer of gold dealership company, Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah, wanted.
Nana Appiah, also called NAM1, has been out of the country since September last year, following agitations by customers of his firm for a refund of their investments.
Director-General of the CID, Police Headquarters, Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, issued the declaration for the arrest of Nana Appiah Mensah.
Worried customers of the company, have been clamouring for the arrest of directors of the company and the immediate return of their investments.
The company Menzgold, is said to have operated illegally while taking investments in ‘gold’ deposits.
A section of them, numbering about 500, yesterday demonstrated in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi, to press home their demands for the intervention of authorities to redeem their monies.
Meanwhile multiple warrants have been issued by a circuit court in Accra for the arrest of Nana Appiah Mensah and a number of his associates.
Graphic Online can confirm warrants for the arrest of Rose Tetteh, said to be the wife of Nana Appiah, and his sister, Benedicta Appiah.
They all face charges of defrauding by false pretences.
The CID boss said the INTERPOL may be requested to effect the arrest of Nana Appiah Mensah wherever he is, if need be.
