Coalition develops sexual therapy to support lesbians and bisexuals

Executive Secretary of the National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual Rights and Family Values, Moses Foh Amoaning, says the Coalition has developed a holistic sexual therapy to support lesbians and bisexuals.

According to him, the issue of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Transgenders is a psychosocial problem which needs medical attention.

Mr. Amoaning was speaking at a national dialogue on eliciting a comprehensive national and Inter Africanist response to the LGBTQI phenomenon in Accra.

The Coalition seeks to ensure the preservation of the African traditional and cultural sexual rights and also draw attention to the looming threat of LGBTQI.

It is made up of Christian and Muslim groups as well as traditional leaders.

Mr. Amoaning said the Coalition is also advocating a comprehensive legislation on bisexual and lesbianism in Ghana.

The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Cynthia Morrison said Ghana’s stance on legalizing homosexuality remains unchanged.

She advised parents to adopt a holistic approach to educating their children on sex.
