The Chairman of Coalition of NGOs in Health, Dr. Gabriel Benarko says it will be too early for the President to totally ease COVID-19 restrictions.
Speaking on news and current affairs programme, ‘Behind the News, on Uniiq FM, he said Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies need to be empowered to enforce some of the restrictions which may not be lifted.
Dr Benarko added that they believe in modification but not the total lifting of the ban.
Dr. Benako mentioned the education and religious sectors as areas that could put the country’s effort to waste if the ban is lifted.
