President Akufo-Addo has reiterated the Government’s resolve to help curb corruption.

He said though there has been a huge and cry about corruption perception in Ghana, most of the alleged corrupt practices especially against political actors are being investigated by the appropriate state agencies.

He was hopeful that the GBA would come up with more pragmatic decisions to safeguard the integrity and rule of law in the country.

Speaking on the theme “Ensuring High Standards and Integrity in Public Life”, the Role of the Legal Profession, Chief Justice Getrude Torkornoo, urged Lawyers not to look at rewards, but rather seek society’s well-being to ensure law and order.

The Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Godfred Yeboah Dame said his Ministry has instituted Scholarship Packages for Lawyers to upgrade their career to meet the growing demands in the Legal Profession globally.
