The Asokwa District Court One presided over by Akua Adu Boahen has adjourned hearing of the case involving three suspects linked to the death of Ibrahim Mohammed, alias Kaaka to August 12.
This is to allow the Police to gather more evidence for prosecution.
The suspects were in Court on Thursday, July 22, amid heavy security.
Issaka Ibrahim alias Anyars, Fuseini Alhassan, and Iddi Mohammed have been charged with conspiracy to commit crime and murder.
Head of the Regional Police Legal and Prosecution Unit, Chief Superintendent Kofi Blagodzi, prayed the Court for a two-week adjournment to allow Prosecution time to continue with investigations and be adequately prepared to start proceedings. Consequently, the Court remanded the accused persons into custody.
The Magistrate Akua Adu Boahen, entreated the Police to fast track their investigation so there can be finality to the case.
Iddi Mohammed had a legal representation but the remaining two are yet to put forward any legal representation.
