Court remands two suspects over kidnapping of Canadian women

An Accra High Court presided over by Justice Samuel Boadi, has remanded into custody, two more suspects believed to have been involved in the kidnapping of the two Canadian ladies in the Ashanti Region.

The two, accused persons Safianu Abubakar and Abdul Raman Suleman have been charged with conspiracy to kidnap and kidnapping.

The prosecution prayed the Court to remand the accused persons because the Police are still investigating the case and will need time to complete investigations.

The two will reappear before the Court on the first of next month, together with the other six accused persons connected to the case who were also remanded last week.
