Eighty-two Covid-19 positive cases have been recorded at the Akosombo International School in the Eastern Region.
The number is an update on the previous Seventy-nine cases reported earlier.
Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kumah Aboagye who gave the update said all students and staff of the school have undergone testing, adding that, the affected persons are in a stable condition and have been isolated.
Meanwhile, a total of Fifty-two cases have been reported in twenty-three schools in the Greater Accra Region, with no fatality. Parents of such students have been notified.
