The Ghana Immigration Service at Elubo in the Western Region has arrested five Nigerians for attempting to cross Ghana’s border into the Ivory Coast through an unapproved route.
This is in breach of the temporal ban on the movement of persons and goods across the country’s border as a measure to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The Nigerians aged between 35 and 40 years who are residents of Accra were apprehended by a patrol team upon a tip-off.
