COVID-19: Strategy adopted by government yielding positive results – Clinical Epidemiologist

A former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Health and Allied Sciences, UHAS Professor Fred Binka says Ghanaians should not worry about the increasing numbers of cases being recorded with the Coronavirus.

He said the increasing number, is an indication that the strategy adopted by the Government and Health Experts on mandatory quarantine is yielding positive results by identifying the victims for isolation.

Speaking on GBC’s Current Affairs Programme ‘Focus’, Prof. Binka who is a Clinical Epidemiologist at the School of Public Health, University of Health and Allied Sciences said where Government is falling short is having an Isolation Centre to move all victims from their communities so that they do not infect others.
