The Crime Check Foundation, an NGO under its Health Check series has donated Hospital equipment worth thousands of Cedis to the Kasoa Mother and Child Government Hospital in the Awutu Senya Municipal Assembly of the Central Region.
The items included twenty metal beds, 20 mattresses, 10 wheel chairs, 10 ceiling fans and two walking aides.
The items were donated to the Crime Check Foundation by a Holland based Ghanaian Philanthropist, Linda Owusu to mark her birthday.
The Chief Executive of the Foundation, Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng said the outbreak of the Covid-19 has exposed the weaknesses in the country’s health infrastructure and personnel.
There is therefore the need for all well to do Ghanaians to support the country.
He assured authorities at the facility of his Foundation’s regular support.
The Acting Superintendent of the Kasoa Mother and Child Hospital, Dr. David Mekano was appreciative of the gesture, and appealed for more support for the Hospital.
