The Auditor-General, Daniel Domelevo, who is currently on 167-days leave has been locked out of his office.

Mr. Domelevo who went to his office yesterday to pick some documents, could not access the place because he learnt the locks had been changed. When he enquired, the Acting Auditor-General, Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu said the Audit Service Board Chairman, Professor Edward Dua Agyeman asked him to change the locks to protect documents.

Mr. Domelevo expressed reservation at the development, saying for something like that to happen, he should have been informed because he is still in active service.

Mr. Domelevo’s 167-days accumulated leave was shrouded in a lot of controversies, following the President’s directive for him to take his accumulated annual leave as of July 1.

A statement signed by the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin asked Mr. Domelevo to hand over all matters relating to his office to his Deputy Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu, until his returns from his leave.
