Sections of the Kaneshie-Takoradi highway around the Darkuman junction in the Ablekuma North municipality have been closed to traffic for repair works.
Portions of the road which are in a deplorable state have in recent times seen widespread frustration experienced by drivers, passengers, and pedestrians who use the road.
Worst affected sections are those between Academy and Darkuman Junction and Odorkor. When completed, it will give respite to motorists and passengers who have had to make perilous journeys on the stretch.
