Desist from acts that could mar peaceful polls – National Peace Council

The Executive Secretary of the National Peace Council, George Amoh, has appealed to the public particularly political parties to refrain from violence and divisive acts and utterances which could threaten the peaceful conduct of the December polls and also ensure the preservation of Ghana’s reputation as a stable democracy.

Mr. Amoh was addressing an advocacy workshop on the Vigilantism and Related Offences Act at Obuasi in the Ashanti region.

He underlined the need to ensure just and Peaceful elections before, during and after the December general election.
