The Minister for Education, Matthew Opoku Prempeh has appealed to MPs to desist from making propaganda from the use of TIN numbers in the free SHS programme.

He said this as he rose on a point of order during the contribution of the Ranking member on the Education Committee, Peter Nortsu Kotoe as he took his turn to debate the 2019 budget in Parliament.

Debating the 2019 budget on education, Mr Nortsu Kotoe said the erstwhile NDC government was in the process of employing some 29,000 persons into the Ghana Education Service but upon assumption of office, the current government recruited less than that.
