Head of Department of Social Work, University of Ghana, Dr. Augustina Naami has urged Ghanaians to desist from discriminating against persons with disabilities.
According to her, persons with disabilities also deserve the best in life.
She said discrimination against persons with disabilities is a global problem that needs education to reverse the trend.
Dr. Naami made the point during a capacity-building session for Journalists in the Oti Region.
She reminded the media of their role to inform and educate and ensure national cohesion.
