Easter Monday normally witnesses a high patronage at event venues like beaches, pubs, parks and gardens, hotels, Malls, among others. GBC News visited some of these event centers to find out how the celebration was going on.
At the Bola beach behind the Black Star Square at Osu, the usual crowd was absent due to the rains. But those who defied the cold weather were savoring the moment, with some swimming in the sea.
To prevent promiscuity sometimes associated with the day, the Perez Chapel also organized a picnic to engage its members. The members were engaged in activities like egg eating competition, swimming and cooking competitions.
The euphoria at the Achimota Mall encouraged more revelers to dance and enjoy a variety of dishes. Some of them were there to window shop while others, especially the youth, took the opportunity to take selfies.
