Eastern Corridor Road: 79% complete

Roads and Highways Ministry gets GH¢5 Billion for 2023

Construction of the famous Eastern Corridor Road project is at 79 percent complete. Ghana Eastern Corridor is a National Road N2 that starts in Tema Roundabout and ends in Kalungugu, the northeastern border with Burkina Faso, a distance of 695,6 km.

Volta Regional Minister Archibald Letsa made the point when he took his turn at the Meet the Press series in Accra to give the status of the Volta Regional report on Health Education Road infrastructure among others.

According to him, the current government inherited 27 percent of the road under construction with just 15 kilometres in good condition.

Government he said is hoping to complete the project on schedule.

Most health projects in the Region are progressing steadily. On the Agenda 111 projects, the region was allocated eight.
