The Army Chiefs of the Economic Community of West African States, Ecowas, are expected to meet in Accra in the next two days to discuss the situation in Niger.
The meeting will reportedly work out a plan for military intervention in Niger to return Mr. Bazoum to power.
This follows the expiration of an Ecowas ultimatum after the coup against President Bazoum.
Some experts as well as ordinary citizens in the sub-region are strongly opposed to a military intervention in Niger, as supporters of the junta are calling for the mass mobilization of citizens against the threat of military action by the regional bloc.
Security and Fraud Consultant, Richard Kumadoe explained and said the outcome of the meeting is very important.
